RevGenius new member onboarding Journey

RevGenius onboards new members with a Journey

A thriving community could be a company's most valuable asset and we here at Journey believe strongly in the future of "community-led" companies. Specifically, we feel like the companies who invest long term in building a community will improve customer acquisition, streamline support and success, and increase retention.

Considering Journey is a product used by hundreds of people in sales, it was natural that we were drawn to the community that Jared and team have built over at RevGenius. The mission at RevGenius is to inspire, educate, and empower revenue professionals - since launching the community in 2020 during the pandemic, it has now grown to over 14,000 members. To me, it feels like an alternative work family of sorts where you can meet like-minded individuals in your role, get questions answered from subject matter experts, or attend great online events produced by some of the world's best software companies.

Like us at Journey, RevGenius uses Notion as a content hub for everything and while Notion is a powerful tool, it can be overwhelming especially when you have so much going on like RevGenius does on a daily basis. As a new member, there is a member knowledge hub with the entire corpus of content from RevGenius. I'll admit when I was dropped into this experience, I felt a little overwhelmed which compelled me naturally to navigate to what the most important 1 or 2 things I could do to start getting the most out of the RevGenius community.

This led me to actually creating a Journey for myself considering that there was a few videos to help me get "onboarded" properly taking actions like joining slack, scheduling onboarding, and signing up for upcoming events. By breaking down some of the content that was housed in Notion, I felt less overwhelmed and more eager to take action within the RevGenius community and we were thrilled to see RevGenius start using Journey for onboarding new members with this Journey here.

If you're a revenue professional working in sales, marketing, or operations - highly suggest you head over to RevGenius and start engaging in this vibrant community!
